This will be very short:  freecreditreport.com will NOT provide a “free” credit report or reports.

The service at www.annualcreditreport.com will, but don’t fall for the numerous attempted upsells to your credit score or for extended access to the site.  (This site is the official place for Experian, Trans Union and Equifax to provide each person one free credit report per year.  All other sites are, by definition, NOT!)
